#168: The GaurdiYums of the Galaxy

Wondercon is coming soon and I'm getting ready for the geeky extravaganza. If you're going on Saturday and you spot a strangely tall kid in a Star Lord getup, it's this guy *points thumbs at thyself*. Speaking of Guardians, here is a brand new Food Wars spinoff for you fellow Marvelites: the GaurdiYums of the Galaxy! In the same galaxy where Luke Piewalker once brought balance to the Light Side of the Forks, a new story has begun. With the diabolical doughy psycho, Sconan the Accuser, and the power-hungry Pepsi, Canos, on the hunt for the Orb, the Galaxy - especially the good planet of Xandairy - is in need of saving. Such good timing for a scrumptious squad of heroes like this one to be founded . . . whether it's members like it or not. Here we have Star Gourd, a leather-sporting spacedude and member of the Ravegetables; Gummora, the chewy child of Canos and a sugary assassin; Rocket Snackoon, a cookie creature with more anger packed into him than birds in a turducken; Stax the Destroyer, the deadliest cheddar cheese chip you will ever come across in your life; and Root, Rocket's radish roadie who, well, is Root. As he tells them. Constantly. After bringing an end to the rottenness of Sconan, the GaurdiYums travel the stars, doing things sweet, sour and a little bit of both. While grooving to Sausome Mix Vol. 1, of course. Iiiiiiiiiii'm cooked on a feelin'!

  1. Do Guardi-Yums come in character-shaped vitamins like Flintstone chewables? Because if so, sign me up for 12 boxes, they sound delicious.

  2. Got it! Warning: only eat two with a meal or you'll grow green skin or a racoon tale.
